🎻 For the 4th and last date of the 2023-24 Alto/Fest speed-dating series, Scott Chancey plays in the spring with his programme Schubert and the birds!
🐦 At the core of the program are Schubert's lieder; short songs inspired by beautiful German poems.
🌿 A fresh take on classical music with spoken-word recitations of the inspiring poems behind the pieces. Experience spring's hope, melancholy, and light with Scott and his friend Jean Desmarais at the piano. This intimate musical journey promises to awaken your senses and renew your appreciation for the timeless music of Franz Schubert.
